State Ballet Theatre of Russia - Giselle

When the State Ballet Theatre of Russia made its American debut tour two years ago at Carnegie Hall, the New York Times called the company’s production of Cinderella, which Norton Center audiences also enjoyed, “full of enchantment . . . with lovely scenery and graceful costumes.”  Featuring more than fifty dancers, the company has drawn critical acclaim in performances throughout Europe, India, and Africa, as well as the United States.  For its return to Newlin Hall, the company will perform Giselle, one of the most stunningly beautiful ballets in the entire classical repertoire.
