Ladysmith Black Mambazo

The most beloved of all African musicians, Ladysmith Black Mambazo has worked its musical magic around the world for more than three decades in performances and recordings that marry the intricate rhythms and harmonies of their native South Africa to the sounds and sentiments of Christian gospel music. Grammy Award winners for their own recordings, the ten-member group soared to even greater international fame with their performance on Paul Simon's Graceland album and also when their music was included in the Disney film, The Lion King.
